PE Lists LLC ("PE Lists," "we," "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at pelists.com and to the phone, email and text message communications we send.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, email us, call us or reply to a message, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
- Business contact information. To identify private companies that may be of interest to investment firms, we collect business information about companies and their owners from public sources and commercial data providers. This can include company name, business address, website, owner or executive names, and business phone numbers and email addresses.
- Communication records. We keep records of calls, emails and text messages with you, including whether you agreed to receive text messages and the date you agreed.
- Website usage information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
How we use information
- To contact business owners about potential investment, partnership or acquisition interest from investment firms we work with
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule calls
- To send text messages you have agreed to receive
- To operate, secure and improve our website and services
- To comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
- With an investment firm, with your permission. If you tell us you are open to a conversation, we may introduce you to the investment firm we are working with and share the details you have agreed to share.
- With service providers. We use trusted vendors to run our business, such as our CRM, email, phone and website hosting providers. They may process information only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of PE Lists or others.
Text messaging (SMS)
We only send text messages to people who have agreed to receive them, typically by saying yes during a phone call with our team. Messages relate to scheduling and following up on conversations you have had with us.
- Message frequency varies based on our conversation, and is usually a few messages.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop receiving texts, reply STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
- For help, reply HELP or email support@pelists.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The sharing described elsewhere in this policy does not include this information.
Your choices
- You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any email, telling us on a call, replying STOP to a text, or emailing support@pelists.com. We will mark your record as do not contact.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@pelists.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor those requests as required.
Data retention and security
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and we keep a record of opt out requests so we can honor them. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our services are intended for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
